Dr. Asef Anwar, a graduate of The University of Sydney with dual degrees in Bachelor of Medical Science and Doctor of Dental Medicine, is an accomplished dental professional with a focus on Implant Dentistry, Oral Surgery, full-arch rehabilitation, facial cosmetic treatments, and CAD/CAM Digital Dentistry.
After graduating from the University of Sydney, Dr. Asef provided dental care to underserved communities in regional Australia. In 2018, he moved to Melbourne to be closer to his family and fell in love with the coastal city of Geelong, which now serves as an emerging health hub for urban, rural, and coastal communities.
With extensive experience working in private practices across New South Wales and Victoria and through his dedication to ongoing education and research, Dr. Asef attained Fellow status with the prestigious Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons (RACDS), the highest level of achievement with RACDS.
His commitment to excellence is evident in his continuous pursuit of learning, including a surgical externship at the California Implant Institute and a Fellowship with the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
Dr. Asef emphasises a holistic approach to dental care, focusing on both immediate issues and long-term oral health by providing patients with tools and knowledge for proactive self-care and maintenance.
As well as specialising in dental implants, he is also well-versed in other advanced procedures such as bone augmentation and cosmetic dentistry.
